Saturday Savers Club - My Hive Power/Leo Power/SPS/HBD Goals Progress - Week 2

Time flows so fast isn't it? We are already at the end of week 2 of year 2025!!! and that means, time for me to write another blog for Saturday Savers Club with updates on savings goals I set for year 2025.

As always, appreciate all the support from Saturday Savers Club and Hive users general and it's been an incredible year 2024 I had with the support of all the guys and it's truly inspirational to be part of this club as we get to inspire by reading about the goals and achievements of others.

Here I share the details of my progress on 2 primary goals Hive Power and Leo Power along with 2 additional goals I set with SPS and HBD (Hive Backed Dollar).

Got about 72 Hive Power added this week and along with that, 34 Leo, 587 SPS staked and 34 HBD added to savings making it 50 already out of the 300 HBD goal and I share the details in below sections.

Hive Power:

With Hive price sky rocketing in recent days from the 20 cent to current price of 55 cent, there is a lot of movement and that means, the Hive earnings as hive power from curation will be reduced and that has resulted in reduced rewards for the Hive Power, but the HBD earnings are also more and I am just moving most of it to savings to earn the 15% APR.

Hope the Hive price settles around 50 cent as that will help in buying the Secondary Hive tokens on Hive Engine.

Leo Power:

Same as with Hive Power, the Leo Power goal is also moving slowly with Leo price also caught up along with Hive price, but I have some Hive to spend on Leo and i have buy requests raised for the LPUD happening in 4 days and I aim to have atleast 1K Leo added as Leo Power.

With premium membership brought again, my Leo earnings are also on the rise from the blogs with the support from leo.voter account and I am yet to claim the 5 curation submissions and I think today is a good day to utilize one of those 5.

Other Goals:

SPS:

The maximum gainer among the 4 goals I have set is this goal of SPS as I could battle manually whole of this season and accumulated 587 SPS from battle rewards, staking rewards and also land rewards and that makes it to 83418 out of the year end goal of 100000 staked SPS and we have still whole year isn't it ;)

HBD:

The last goal for the week of my 4 goals is the most important one and i.e. HBD or Hive Backed Dollar and I have set 300 HBD savings by year end.

by end of week 2, I have already saved 50 HBD and that is about 16% of that 300 HBD and the increase in price of Hive is paying out good HBD as rewards from the blogs and I think it won't take me a full year to achieve that goal if the Hive price continues to be around 50 cents.

If I can achieve the HBD goal say by 6 months itself, I will try to concentrate more on the other goals while increasing my HBD savings as well.

I would also like to buy some BTC every week or once in a week or atleast once in a month with whatever HBD I can, so as to increase the my BTC savings as much as possible as the growth with BTC will be exponential compared to all these goals I set and that should also help me to convert some part of BTC to either Hive or or other tokens part of my goal.
