dswap.trade, The Little Extra Benefit - Purchase of 50K COLONY Tokens

I was seeing so many updates on dswap.trade on the Arcade Colony related blogs since many days and decided to take a look at that and try myself with a swap of Hive to COLONY tokens and here are the details.

As you might be aware, dswap.trade is a trading platform which has many other options and is in line with Hive Engine we use for our Secondary layer tokens trade on Hive Blockchain.

I was reluctant to trade on dswap.trade because I have been using the Hive Engine since it's inception and was thinking that dwap.trade is yet another one of those trading platforms like Hive Engine, yes, it is definitely another trading platform, but it does have many additional options which even Hive Engine too possess.

But what caught my eyes is something I will explain further as I take you thru this blog.

These days more of my HBD and Hive are going towards buying COLONY and SCRIPT tokens or buying some highly effective cards for staking on MoonKarts to earn more FUEL.

Likewise, this time too I was planning for swapping some Hive for COLONY tokens and I just searched for 50K COLONY tokens swapping with swap.hive as you can see from above screenshot.

The value of swap.hive required is shown as 71.52 and I went back to Hive Engine and searched for same 50K COLONY with a transaction with more than 50K COLONY token published for sale with details as below.

The last but one transaction as I marked is the one which could fulfil my requirement as all other sell orders were with lesser COLONY token selling orders and together combined of all of those wouldn't have yielded me the required quantity I was looking for.

Considering this, if we go with the price quoted by that highlighted one, I would need to pay 0.00144999 per COLONY token and 50K COLONY would have costed me 72.499 Hive, which is not much of a difference and I still think both will be same if I buy the COLNY from all the above pending sell orders.

So, nothing much to differentiate here so far.

With that in mind, since I was trying to buy the COLONY on dswap.trade, I went ahead and created buy request as I show in the above screenshot.

But wait!!!! here comes the little surprise as I could see the trade details showed something better returns for the same Hive spent!!!

The estimated tokens I was getting was as per my expected value i.e. 50K COLONY token, but in actual, I got 51125 COLONY tokens!!!! The extra tokens would have costed another close to 2 Hive which is all savings for me and these little savings will always makes us happy, right?

So, I brought the tokens and it's something much bigger than the current staked COLONY tokens for me and should take me to more than 85K staked when I go ahead and stake these.

I just went ahead and transferred in those tokens from Hive Engine to my MoonKarts Account in order to stake those and increase my staking factor.

So, there it is!!! 86K tokens staked with all the newly purchased tokens were staked and I am just getting closer to 100K staking of COLONY tokens which shouldn't take much time for me as I will expect more rewards with this increased stake and also planning to increase my FUEL generation capacity in order to play more of those races.

Yes!!!! My staking factor has increased to 18.8 from earlier 14+ and I will be going ahead and racing soon to get some more rewards.

dswap.trade is definitely worth try and I will definitely recommend this to my friends.

Days are getting moved faster and I need to complete my office work before I sit calm and start playing those races on MoonKarts, but it's definitely on this weekend.
