Yeah you are right, she wanted a man who was better than her, all ladies want this tho
and even though the signs were glaring at her, she ignored them until the guy confessed

I think she chose to not believe your warnings or the red flags. In reality,there might be regular and well-meaning young men around her who might want her, but she might probably reject them all for a person as that scammer. Some women are like this.
