A Balcony Full of Yesterdays - Lightscape Night Photography Contest Round 3
Our room overlooks this panorama at night, and I can't help but stare at the city lights that are strewn across the countryside like Christmas lights or stars. Twinkling, bright, reassuring, they make the entire city come to life. The way the lights cluster around the distant buildings makes it a very serene sight to behold. It's one of those small pleasures that causes you to stop and enjoy the present. I always feel grateful, at ease, and grounded after looking at this scene for some reason.
This was photographed from my grandparents home in the city.
