It's been two months since my last post in this community. There have been ups and downs but still, God is truly faithful.

This is just a life update coz' I feel like I have to atleast document my days and place it here where I feel safe and important (at least that's what I feel 😁).

SEPTEMBER HIGHLIGHTS

September 9+
We started our DCP Caravan. A team from AOs of Tuba was created to visit schools to check their Laptops, desktops, and printers and if possible, repair them. I was one of the chosen AO! I may not be as knowledgeable like the others when it comes to repairing things but I tell you: I REALLY ENJOYED IT. I was able to learn to fix printers or atleast check what's wrong with it. We are not yet done actually. We have to visit 39 schools and aside from that, we have to continue our regular work.

Below are the pics we took for documentation 😁.

We had our very first "TAPS CLEAR"; A program initiated by one of our colleagues wherein all Administrative Officers and Bookkeepers of Tuba gather to discuss and update esch other on the financial aspects of the schools we are assigned to. We also invited some speakers from the Accounting Office of SDO Benguet to update us on the latest memos involving school funds. The event took place at Palm Grove Resort. I'd also like to share that on our first TAPS CLEAR, our Generous Supervisor gave us budget where we only added few hundreds for food. As soon as the accounting office heard that we paid for the said event, they promised to provide us financial support for the next TAPS CLEAR. 😁

The whole morning was dedicated for the discussions and come afternoon, we enjoyed the resort and of course, aside from swimming, we enjoyed the moments we shared especially the funny stories we laughed out with together. Yes, TUBA team really is a strong team because of our unity.

SEPTEMBER 25
Just my birthday... I am just thankful that I have reached this age. Oh I failed many times but I did learn from those failures.

OCTOBER 1
So this is a sad day for us. One of my cousin died. Though she's a special child, we are still and very much saddened about her passing away but also a bit relieved for she can now rest and can feel no more pain. My aunty, (her mom) took care of her since she's a baby. she died in the age of 34 due to some illness.

these are some old images I found and I just enhanced them using the Polish App

OCTOBER 12
My super poging Cousin came into our house to fetch us and celebrate with his son's birthday. The kids enjoyed their time playing with Crayden and ✨eating✨ his cake. Watching them bond warmed my heart. I hope they grow close too.

OCTOBER 20-25
On these dates, another core memory was created.
We were selected to participate in the "TUBA EMERGENCY RESPONDER'S COURSE". During those times, Typhoon Kristine hit us with her strong winds and rain but the training still continued. I have been thirsting for this kind of training. And boy, I enjoyed it so much! Learning things about saving someone's life is a MUST. Discussions and practicals were applied. On 24th we were provided with an exciting "Amazing Race" where we applied all that we have learned on the previous dates. We actually ran under the rain, cooked while tied with the other team members and enjoyed the victory since we were announced the Champion on the 25th. We also had a simulation with "Mass Casualty Incident" Where they chose me as one of the patients. It was so much fun pretending to be involved in an accident and waiting for someone to come and rescue me.

OCTOBER 22
I attended a wedding where I immediately applied the skills I have learned during the training I mentioned above. Someone got hit by a papaya tree in his head and we rushed him to the nearest capable hospital. I went just in case he'll be needing CPR on the way which I thanked God because we reached the hospital and he's still concious.

I didn't took photos though coz I was so exhausted that time.

And that's it. Those events above wrapped up my 2 month absence here at PeakD. If you made it this far, thank you sooo much!!!

And i miss saying this:

This is your @mama-ayn. Thanks and God bless!
