One thing that many people may not fully understand is the complexity and nuances of mental health. Mental health is not just about feeling happy or sad; it encompasses a wide range of emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. Conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and others are complex and can have profound effects on a person’s life.

Many people may underestimate the impact of mental health issues or may stigmatize those who struggle with them, viewing them as a sign of weakness or personal failure. However, mental health is influenced by a combination of biological, psychological, and environmental factors, and seeking help for mental health challenges is not a sign of weakness but rather a courageous step toward healing and well-being.

Additionally, there’s often a lack of understanding about how to support someone with mental health issues. It’s important for people to educate themselves about mental health, to foster empathy and compassion, and to create environments where individuals feel safe and supported in seeking help and treatment.

I really hope that people will normalize going to a psychiatrist or a psychologist to seek help. Today, when you go to these specialists, people often think of you as a crazy person and discriminate you...not knowing the burden you are going through. I have tried consulting with these specialist during my postpartum days and they have helped me a lot.

Exactly, most of the time, men are the victims of this, most of the time men think it is not manly for them to open up and voice out their problems. It causes a lot of stress and depression. It is really important to have someone to talk with.
