RE: Alternative Weekend: The resilient triology.

What amazing bands did you list there? Talk Talk was my favourite one back in the day. Still today, they stand out from the crowd, even though they have not been active for a few decades. Their last two albums, Spirit of Eden and Laughing Stock, are the best they produced, at least to me.

Thank you very much for your comment and knowing that you are also another person who preferred Talk Talk.

The last two albums, which you mention, were a turning point and influenced many bands, including Radiohead.

For me, perhaps more of an emotional choice, the preference is for The Color of Spring. Then they started to be recognized. Because their beginning was not easy.

Colour of Spring is a masterpiece as well. All of their work is amazing. Still listening to all albums, from time to time. By now all on Spotify, but for a long time not. Spirit of Eden took quite some time to get there. Ofc also have all the CDs, but rarely power on the CD player. And those doesnt fit in the little ports on my laptop and phone anymore. Perhaps I have to press harder when trying to use a USB-C or lightning port to eat a CD? 😆😆😆
