For true decentralization, it's necessary to run our own nodes, like with Qortal. Hosting on off-site services is not something that I'd ever recommend. I wish Hive were as decentralized. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

@savvytester knew that servers that are locally run are necessary for decentralization, though they just pointed out that running $5-per-month VPS instances (their specs in particular) are barely enough to run any #Honeycomb node !INDEED, not that they plan to host such nodes indefinitely (while the respective network is still up) on rented servers. 🤯🤓
