Another problem solved.

This time of year, at home we always have an abundance of Turkey leftover.
What do you do to solve this problem?

Well, you make a nice Turkey soup to go with your Tea Biscuits.

So here is how it all unfolded. My wife got a soup kit gift from her boss and suggested it could be something I could do with the leftover turkey. I said sure, no problem.

I had already carved all the meat off the bone and I was about to make my usual broth until she mentioned she had picked up some Chicken Broth. Now, I normally do not cook using any sodium but today I made an exception. Actually, this happened yesterday. Today is my birthday so I planned ahead.

Let's get started

Now I needed 10 cups of water so I used the full 4 cups of chicken broth and topped the rest with hot water.

I include the next 2 images so you can see more information about the soup kit.

In this step I separated the pasta from the soup mix and I show the carrots, onion, celery and turkey.

Once the water and soup broth boiled I added the soup mix and started the simmering process. At which point I added the other ingredients except the pasta.

While the soup was simmering I heated my lunch. This is a stir fry my wife made with some leftover turkey.

In this photo we see everything in the pot except the pasta that will be added during the last 15 minutes of the simmering process.

Now its done and I am hoping my better half will make some tea biscuits, which she did.

Everything worked out well and I am having soup for a few more meals.

Wishing you all the best.

May Positive pepEntropy be with all Hivers.
