YOU ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORD✝️✝️__ HAPPY SUNDAY 😊

The Light Still Burns 🕯️

This morning, I captured this moment. Two candles burning on the altar, flames dancing in the wind, while a crowd of young students in green uniforms stood behind.

It reminded me of Matthew 5:14 - "You are the light of the world."

Look closely. The wind is blowing. You can see the smoke bending. One flame is shaking. But none of them went off. The light still burns.

That is how our faith should be.

Life will blow wind on you. Challenges, disappointment, sickness, delay. Like the wind on these candles, it will try to shake your flame.

But if your light is rooted in Christ, if your oil is fresh, the wind cannot quench it.

Those children in the background are the next generation. They are watching. What kind of light are we showing them? A light that flickers and dies when small wind blows, or a light that stands?

Today, I pray for you reading this:

May your candle not go off.
May your oil not run dry.
May your light keep shining in your family, in your street, in your workplace.........

Even when it shakes, let it still burn.
Because someone in darkness is looking for your light to find their way........

Amen.
