"Welcome to my Introductory post! Sharing a Little About Me: I Am a Newbie Here and Excited to Be Part From Farming to Hive: A Mother’s New Opportunity”
Hello everyone! My name is Vellyn,47 years old from the Philippines and I am happy to introduce myself here in the Hive community
I am a simple woman who enjoys living a quiet and meaningful life. I may not have many things to share compared to others, but I believe that every person's story is special in its own way. I am thankful for the simple things that life gives me every day, especially my family, our home, and our farm.
I am a farmer and a housewife. Farming has been a big part of my everyday life. It is not always easy because it requires patience, hard work, and dedication. There are days when the weather is hot, the work is tiring, and there are many things that need to be done. But despite the challenges, I am happy whenever I see our plants growing and producing something that we can use or sell.
For me, farming is more than just work. It teaches me to be patient and thankful. When I plant something, I have to wait and take care of it before I can enjoy the result. It reminds me that good things also take time.
Aside from being a farmer, I am also a good housewife. Taking care of my family and our home is very important to me. I enjoy preparing food, keeping our home organized, and making sure that my family is doing well. Sometimes the work at home can be tiring, but seeing my family happy makes everything worth it.
I am a simple person who appreciates ordinary moments. I enjoy spending time with my family, working around the farm, preparing meals, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings of our home. I also love seeing the beauty of nature, especially the plants, trees, and different crops that we grow.
I decided to join Hive because I want to learn something new and connect with other people from different places. I am still new here, so I hope I can slowly learn how everything works. I am excited to discover new communities, read interesting stories, and share some parts of my own life.
I may not be an expert writer, but I will try my best to share my experiences honestly and simply. I hope my future posts can show a little part of our everyday life as farmers and as a family.

The way you describe farming as something that teaches patience and gratitude, waiting and caring for something before enjoying the result, really resonates. We run a small farm and agriturismo ourselves in the Marche region of Italy, and that same lesson (good things take time) is something we live every day too.
