First, I will share this place infront of our house, we didn't want to removed the wild grass so that the place will avoid of getting muddy or dusty. This lawn is very perfect for doing some simple sports activities just like volleyball and badminton. In fact last reunion activities, we put a nets between the two coconut trees and everyone was having a lot of fun time playing at the lawn. We didn't use lawn mower instead our Farm raising animals just like cows eat the grass to make it trimmed.
Our farm contains lots of hardwood trees and wild plants, and some of it are Molave, mahogany and Macao trees. We didn't cut those trees so that it always keep the place cool and relaxing. Lots of wild animals just like birds, this big trees helps us a lot when super typhoon hit our place. There are lots of molave trees can be seen and found here, in fact the mother plants already submerged to the river many years already. Those trees grows at the middle of our farm were our coconut also grows. This trees already grows 45 years already according to my Father.
Every morning, I searched of the entire farm place to search gor any coconuts and coconut shells. Last month I sell charcoals made of coconut shells and I earned 500 Pesos that day. I gathered those in one place so that it will be very easy to hauled and put in an empty sack and carried it home. Today, I gathered 8 coconuts and each coconut cost 5 Pesos and we sell it every two months.
On the other hand, the coconut shells I gathered I will put it here in this big oven and burn all day. This big oven is very helpful to me so that I can produced more charcoal and after that, I will covered using banana stems and put in the sack the following days. I brought this big charcoal oven at the price of 3,500 Pesos it keeps the place very clean by gathering those coconut shells.
These the coconut trees we have at the farm, and we are facing a problem because some of our coconut trees are already dehydrated due to intense heat happens last Month. Some of the Coconut's leaves are already dried and cannot produce any fruits anymore due to dehydration, our plan is to cut and sell at the lumber shop. But despite of the problem we faced, there are some of the coconut plants still survived and still produce more coconut fruits. The best thing we did is to put the dried and fallen leaves in the coconut trunk so that the soil will still moist and not getting dried, aside of that it help to make as an organic fertilizer to the plants.
This is one of my Cow here at the farm and we called this cow "Remi". This cow is the responsible why the grass at our lawn is still trimmed. Remi has a great job by eating the grass grows at our lawn.
Because of the intense heat happen here in our place last month, some of the concrete fish pond we built was having cracks on it. We decided to transferred in the other fish pond and we planned to fix the pond by next day. Even if we faced some serious problems, we always keep it handled those problems and solve slowly. Being productive is always very important to make our life very success. Thank you for visiting and reading my post, have a nice day everyone.
