Hello everyone! I hope youβre all doing well. Every time I visit the mountain where my parents live, I always feel like I'm entering a different world. The first thing I notice is the weather. It's unbelievably cold almost like I'm in Baguio or somewhere thereβs a snow! The cool breeze touches my skin the whole day, and I love it. What amazes me the most is that around 1:00 PM, thick fog starts covering the entire place. In just a few minutes, everything turns white, and I can barely see the road across from our house.

Whenever I arrive, I am always welcomed by my parents' lovely farm animals. Their ducks, dogs, chickens, goats, and many other animals seem excited to see me. One of my favorite things to do is feed them. Watching them happily eat makes me feel so relaxed, and somehow, all my stress disappears. It may sound simple, but spending time with these animals brings me genuine happiness.

After feeding them, the fog becomes even thicker. The cold is so intense that it almost feels like I'm surrounded by ice. I enjoy wrapping myself in a blanket, lying down, and simply listening to the peaceful sounds of nature. Honestly, there are moments when I don't even want to go back home because life here is so calm and refreshing.

Another thing I love is seeing the beautiful bell flowers growing naturally along the roadside. They are so cute and attractive, and every evening they fill the air with a sweet fragrance that makes the mountain feel even more magical.

Every visit I can feel how peaceful life can be. Away from the noise of the city, surrounded by nature, my family, and our farm animals, I always find comfort, happiness, and a heart full of gratitude.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story.

I hope my little mountain escape brought a smile to your day! This is my owned picture and the lead photo was edited in Canva.

Most likely because of the coming typhoon. It won't make landfall, but because it's a hurricane category, we will definitely feel it. Stay safe, Rona.
Nice place π it's great that you have lots of ducks π¦π
I love this kind of foggy weather, I grow up in this kind of weather in my province. Life is so simple when I was growing up. Honestly, being in our parents home is really different. You would feel relax, at peace and you would enjoy your moms cooking. It was heart warming that we have this kind of place, the peaceful nature and no gossipers.
Foggy weather it's quite charming seems you had a very simple day in a nice place π
