A pleasant day to everyone! Today, I just want to share a story about our simple bonding time this afternoon here at the farm. My husband suddenly thought of catching some catfish, so he and my daughter went straight to our small fishpond. As always, my daughter was the most excited one, she thought it was just another fun game. Kids really have a different kind of joy in the simplest things.

Since my husband’s niece, Aya, was also around, she joined in ad helped catch the fish. Our fishponds is mainly for our daily meals, but I’m also planning to sell some once we have a bigger harvest. For now, they’re still too small, but hopefully by Christmas season, they’ll be ready. It would be a big help for our holiday needs.

While capturing these moments with my phone, I suddenly realized now blessed we truly are. Our rice filed in back of our farmhouse is also almost ready to harvest, maybe next week. Seeing how the grains are becoming golden brings a different kind of joy It reminds me that hard work pays off in its perfect time.

The sunset earlier was also breathtaking. Its soft, warm flow reflected beautifully over the rice field. Moments like this refresh my heart, especially after busy days online and doing household tasks.. Good thing my husband mentioned that it’s already nearby. I’m praying that rice prices will be better this time because the previous price was so low around thirteen pesos per kilo only.

Life here in the farm teaches many lessons. One of the is that if you are hardworking and patient, you will always have something to live on. God really provides in many ways. Sometimes, the blessings are big, sometimes small but always enough. Watching my family enjoy the afternoon, seeing y daughter laugh while thinking the catfish were toys, and feeling the cool breeze before sunset, all of these remind me to appreciate the simple joys.
Now that the Catfish is already cooked, Let eat guys!

This is all for today’s little farm story. Thank you for reading and I hope this brings you a bit of warmth and peace, This is my owned picture, edited in Canva. Until next time! 💛

Wow! You have a great and blessed life my friend. Your farm life really inspired me, the patience and hardwork as a farmers is really rewarding. Your fishpond has a lot of fish even though you said that it was small, just like small but full. I'm sure the catfish will multiply and bigger this coming Christmas so you can save money from buying fish on the market because you can just catch here just like what your husband and daughter did. Your were right that children are so happy even in a simplest way. Their innocent reminds us that we must contented on what we have and we must be happy even in a simple things. I really love your farm and the grains are now ready to be harvest. Hehe more harvest and thank you for sharing your farm life.
You made wonderful photos of your daughter in the fields and it's nice having so close a pond where you can fish 🐠🐠🐠
Thank you so much! I’m happy you liked the photos. We’re grateful for the fields and the little fishpond that makes our family bonding and free meal. ❤️
