For me personally, female friends are hard to come by and like you, I am very selective of my friends. I find it's easier to connect with male friends than women.

I also know some people who feel they connect better with men than with women. They are not lesbians, but they prefer having male friends because, according to them, men tend to be less complicated, with less drama and gossip.
Yes. That's my reason too. I get weary with women's tendency to gossip and create drama. Men is so pragmatic and simple 😅
