RE: Things are growing bigger; Hivegarden gardenjournal with sunshine and strong growth

Oh, the jungle looks beautiful. Enjoy the summer… the bugs are enjoying it too. Poor things. 😄

Apples — I like them a lot, yet I never buy them. I’ve seen street vendors, the kind who sell fruit and vegetables, with imported apples on their tables or carts. And I’ve been told that some people have managed to grow them here. I suppose in places with more or less favourable conditions of humidity and temperature for that crop.

Thanks!
There are quite a lot of different apples and I don't like them all.
This is a species called Topaz. Chat says this about Topaz:

The Topaz apple has a delicious, tangy-sweet and aromatic flavor with a crisp bite. Its taste and texture are often compared to the well-known Elstar and Jonagold varieties, featuring subtle notes of honey and a light spiciness.

Every climate has its own fruits. I see mangoes, bananas and other exotic fruit growing in other Hivegarden blogs, but those won't survive our winters here 😀
