From Green to Gold: A Corn Farm’s to Success Story in the Philippines

Greetings to my fellow Hive Farmers and Gardeners!
Today, I want to share our experience about corn farming here in the Philippines. This story is about my brother’s farm, and how his hard work paid off.

Last month, we visited his corn farm. At that time, the corn plants were already tall. It had been two months since he planted them. The plants were green and healthy. When the wind blew, the corn leaves move softly. I felt happy seeing the far, growing well. Farming is not easy in the Philippines. Sometimes there is too much rain, Sometimes the weather is too hot. Farmers always worry about the weather and the price of corn in the market.

Yeh, My eyes is so tired that time, tired because its so hard to go there, but my heart is so happy.

After some weeks, we came back to visit again, I was very amazed. The green field had turned golden. The corn was ready for harvest. The whole far, looked beautiful under the sunlight. It looked like a wide golden carpet. I just stood there and smiled because I knew harvest tome had come.

Corn is very important in the Philippines. Many farmers plant corn for food and for animal feeds. It helps many families earn money, But the reality is not always easy. The price of fertilizer is high. The cost of farming tools and labor is also high. Sometimes the selling price of corn is low. Even with these challenges, farmers continue to plant and work hard.

My brother started harvesting the corn. I could see that he was tired, but he was also happy. All his early mornings, cleaning the land, planting, putting fertilizer and checking the crops every day were worth it. Seeing the harvested corn made him proud.

As someone who also understands farm life. I know that farming teaches patience. You cannot force corn to grow fast. You must wait and take care of it every day When harvest time comes, it feels very rewarding.

My brother also has a green thumb. Even near the farm, where they eat, he planted flowers. Every day, colorful plants bloom there. They make the farm more beautiful and cheerful. Flower and corn together give the farm a happy, lively feeling.

I am happy that my brother’s effort paid off. His golden corn field is not just a farm. It is a symbol of hard work, hope and faith.
