Fiesta sa Kaumahan Agricultural flower and Garden Show at Gaston Park

I remember since I am a kid I loved plants as it add's colors and attractions to our house.I am even planning that when I retire I would like to live or have a mini farm/garden in my front yard will be a garden of flowers and in backyard will be a plants of vegetables.

I really like visiting gardens here in our city since I cannot have a own garden in our yard because I do not own a land and just renting a house.Couple of days ago the City of Cagayan de Oro local government organize a garden event that we visit yestetday.

There are different farmers from any parts of Mindanao who joins this event and most of them are selling flowers and vegetables.In fact I visited a friend who joins this event from Davao and they are plant sellers here.I heard that selling plants is a good business.They owned a big farm/land in Davao and they really love planting.

The displayed plants and flowers at "Fiesta sa Kaumahan " are really attractive.It was night time when we visit the flowers and plants still looks attractive and too many people are still inquring to buy the plants.We roam around the gaston park and we saw different varietys of flowers such as orchids,boguenvilla,mango plants, rambutan,santol and many more.

We didnt able to witness the cultural farm selling of vegetables because its already night time maybe in next day will visit again
but as of now since its getting late and night time we need to get back home soon my kids are with me and we enjoy so much taking flowers and plants pictures around.

I am inspired soon to have my own garden once I can buy my own lan d but it takes some timme and a lot of effort and hardwork to do but because of my passion with plants I will make sure that it will happend.
