Welcome to my blog today. I had written a blog about paddy crop cultivation a month and a half ago and I had also updated it a week later. It has been a long time and I am very close to harvesting the peddy crop. I thought I would share its new update with you today.
#HiveGarden has run this very good project for gardeners and agriculturists, where farmers share information here using this platform and taking advantage of this community, which benefits others and allows us to learn a lot. So I would like to thank @gardenhive for providing us with this facility.
Peddy /Rice πΎ crop is about 50 to 60 days old, but diseases also attack at this stage, which is very important to control in time. If it is not controlled, the production can be affected and it decreases to a considerable extent. Often, leaf curl disease attacks the paddy crop. At this point, it is important to diagnose it, and timely spraying can get rid of this disease because this is the stage when the plant is putting out its stalk, and when the disease attacks, its attention is focused on preventing the disease, resulting in a significant decrease in production.
Now I will tell you that I have done my best scouting, and Leafhopper attack was found. When this disease attacks, there are some signs that you should keep in mind. The leaves of the paddy start curling and folding. Their color starts turning light yellow.
I went to an agricultural shop and bought sprays to treat leafhoppers. When I reached the spray shop, I met an agriculture officer who also recommended sprays and shared a lot of information about rice with me. Our meeting lasted for about 30 minutes, and I think I benefited a lot from this meeting because this officer shared the entire procedure from paddy cultivation to paddy field and provided me with a lot of good information, which I will try to adapt in the next crop. I brought them back and prepared their solution in a bucket so that I could spray the rice πΎ crop. Since my mobile phone battery is dead, I could not capture pictures during the spraying. After this spray, the peddy crop has started improving and now I hope that the production will continue to improve.
After that, when this crop is harvested, I will also share the last post about the rice πΎ crop with you people. In this, I will also tell you about its yield and price in the market. I will also share with you the total cost incurred on it and the profit. Stay connected with me to get future updates. Follow my account. Please do the same and reblog and like this post of mine.
