This was a fun game to me back in the day. It seems almost cartoonishly tame by today's standards and it is funny to me that the politicians and parent groups were trying to get this game banned. It did get banned in some places.
I think if you are the kind of person that is going to allow a pixelated box and stick figure person that shoots what looks like marbles, if you let that affect your daily decisions and hurt or kill someone, then the game is not the problem.

Hey player, I share your view on attributing acts of violence to factors such as video games, especially back then when, as you mentioned, the graphics in games were quite far removed from reality. Now we'll see what people have to say about GTA 6...
