The game that made me lose track of time

Hi everyone, I would love to talk about a game that made me spend hours and hours in the arcades, to the point of spending all my monthly allowance that my father gave me in a single day, and this game is Ninja Gaiden.

I'm going to try to make a complete analysis of this game and I hope to surprise you with it, so I'll start.

His story

  • Ninja Gaiden, This game was made for arcades, where all our friends would gather to play. This game left its mark on the action genre because its movements were very fast and it had great cinematics.
  • It was created by the company Tecmo but currently it is called Koei Tecmo but we all know them better by the name of Koei

  • The plot of the game was Ryu Hayabusa's search and revenge for his dead father and for an ancient evil.

As you can see, it's all very simple, but a game that, although it had a very common plot in games of those years, hooked you.

What were their characters?

  • Ryu Hayabusa: who is the protagonist who belonged to the Hayabusa clan, the weapon he used was the Dragon Sword

  • Irene Lew: She is a CIA agent and loves Ryu but only appears in the first games
  • Rachel:She appears in the game in 2004 and is a demon hunter who also seeks revenge because her sister was transformed into one of them.
  • Ayane:She is an ally of Ryu and has more prominence in later games.

If I tell you the truth, I never got to the last boss. I always stayed at the 3rd or 4th boss, but I was always on the lookout in case someone played to see the last and the end of the game.

I mean that the Ninja Gaiden game left a big mark on the world of video games and its industry and this is due to its gameplay, its story and also its characters from its origins on the NES to today's consoles and more will have to come. And if I tell you the truth, many times I miss spending time in an arcade, as today there are none, and it's a shame because retro will always have its place for players like me.
