Great! There will be a next chapter for sure. Believe me it was the same for me, I also thought it was boring and excessively linear, until a friend of mine showed me this wonderful game at his house, and I decided to give it a try. If you give it a chance you won't regret it.

PS: If you have a decently good PC you can use the Redux version of Metro 2033 which has some visual improvements and HD Textures.
