(DE/EN) Astral Wars - New Blockchain TCG starts it PreAlpha Phase - Join the party
Intro
Der Alpha Test von Astral Wars ist bereits Ende Juni gestartet. Ich habe dazu einen kurzen Artikel geschrieben, den ihr hier nachlesen könnt.
Nun habe ich es endlich geschafft ein Video zum Gameplay zu erstellen.

The alpha test of Astral Wars has already started at the end of June. I wrote a short article about it, which you can read here.
Now I finally managed to create a video of the gameplay.

Auf den zweiten Blick
Bei meinem letzten Artikel hatte ich noch wenige Spiele und diese hauptsächlich gegen die KI gemacht.
Inzwischen konnte ich zumindest ein paar Multiplayerspiele machen und auch mit den Decks experimentieren.
Meine erste Erkenntnis ist, dass die Starterdecks wirklich gut für den Einstieg sind. Sie sind super aufeinander abgestimmt.
Die zweite Erkenntnis, Aggression geht über Verteidigung. Kusaku Decks mit viel Direktschaden und Fury können 20 Lebenspunkte sehr schnell schmelzen lassen, vor allem, wenn sie dann mit einigen Key Cards aus den anderen Decks kombiniert werden.
@carrotthecaptain scheint ein Experte auf diesem Gebiet zu sein. Zumindest konnte ich sein Deck noch nicht schlagen :-)
Das Spiel hat trotz der nur 61 Karten bereits eine ordentliche taktische Tiefe. Mit weiteren Karten die Stück für Stück veröffentlich werden, sowie der Möglichkeit Karten zu besseren Rängen zu kombinieren wird das Spiel noch komplexer.
Damit dürfte @astralwars etwas werden, auf das viele auf der Hive Blockchain dringend warten. Ein echtes E-Sport Game, in dem Bots wenig Chancen haben dürften. Auch wenn ich hier an vielen Stellen sicherlich überfordert sein werde, freue ich mich gerade auf diesen Aspekt am Meisten.

At the second glance
In my last article I still had few games and these mainly against the AI made.
In the meantime, I was able to do at least a few multiplayer games and also experiment with the decks.
My first insight is that the starter decks are really good to start with. They are synergising well.
The second realization, aggression trumps defense. Kusaku decks with a lot of direct damage and Fury can melt 20 life points very quickly, especially when combined with some key cards from the other decks.
@carrotthecaptain seems to be an expert in this field. At least I couldn't beat his deck yet :-)
The game already has a decent tactical depth despite only 61 cards. With more cards being released piece by piece, as well as the possibility to combine cards to better ranks, the game will become even more complex.
This should make @astralwars something that many on the Hive Blockchain are desperately waiting for. A true e-sports game where bots should have little chance. Even though I'm sure I'll be overwhelmed at many points here, this is the aspect I'm looking forward to the most.
