Yes, that's what I do for a long time, too, with Silver/Gold. While I am thinking about staying in Silver next time for more smaller chests. I'm still undecided. Will be a question in a week. But here is what I probably did wrong: Moved to Gold III too early. I'll consider this. Thanks for the analysis, @underlock! Looking forward!
This time I already reached Gold II but was thrown back to Gold III. I was too fast, right?! It's frustrating to battle against Gold league level cards. And end of season is still some days away. I accumulated only 13 Gold season chests so far. What do you think? How many chests have you accumulated to far, @sodom-lv, and what league are they?

You are doing well. The idea is to move up your league only on the last day so as not to disturb your daily earnings and next season to take advantage of the evolved season chests

Currently, I already accumulated 31 EOS Gold chests.
With this strategy, I'm able to get 35~45 EOS Gold chests per season, plus 100 ~ 120 daily Silver chests.
I have a better win rate in Silver compared to Gold league. And I also see the winning Focus points in Gold III is just similar to Silver I, especially if your rating is higher than 1900 in Silver I.
