Vibes web 3 music competition week 31// Review of victory belongs to Jesus by @stefanovah

Let me begin by appreciating God for another wonderful and beautiful new month. I'm excited to share my moments on this space before I proceed, I would like to acknowledge the management for their permission and platform created for some of us to unleash our God's given talents. Special gratitude to @lordbutterfly and @verbal-d and many others for their efforts in sustaining this space.

As I peruse through the entries for this edition, I was so much captivated by a rendition of a cover done by @stefanovah. First and foremost I want to recommend his efforts despite stretched schedule he had in the studio yet made a good cover like this. Truly this is the product of hard work and resilience.

I would like to bring my review of this entry under the following points;

Choice of song

I would like to say @stefanovah made a good choice of song he rendered. At first I was like could this be the real singer of the song? Wow it was timely and apparently evidential on him. I like the song and I have listened to it severally however this particular presentation was truly superb. Kudos bros for this wonderful choice.

The voice

One of the challenging thing I have noticed most times in music especially singing a cover is the voice. It hardly synchronized or align with the song. For me, @stefanovah there was an accurate blend of his voice and the original singer. I kept wondering how he mixed the stanzas and chorus...the backups as well. This is amazing. The voice was cleared enough and no obstruction from the oesophagus. It was also stable not changing tempo or keys anyhow. I celebrate greatness here.

He scored the song.

An amazing point here is that he really scored the song perfectly for me. The intro and ending was greatly presented. The modulation, bridge all were integrated very well. He wasn't pressured or rushing but slow and steady. He brought out the song for me.He had issues with background noise which he apologized at the beginning. Well noted.

passion

This is the last factor I noticed from his performance. He sang with passion, lovely and lively. He got me soaked and I started feeling as if I should pray. Brother, you turned me on men.

Conclusion

Your recording was fairly ok. Victory belongs to Jesus and will always be with Him. I'm excited in my spirit because it is a song that reminds about what Christ has done.
