We've come to a clear crossroads, and I've decided which path I'll be taking. It's essential that I prioritize my mental well-being over anything else. I've made the mistake before of continuing to push despite myself, and I will not make this error again.
After my post from yesterday, acidyo decided to completely decimate the rewards from the community account using his own community account's curation account. Instead of directly dealing with me, he decided to also take it out on the community using an account that had no relation to our discussion. A blatant abuse of power, irresponsible, reprehensible, and vindictive.
If I hadn't made this clear before, most of @hive-140084's delegations not to delegation-for-vote projects. Most of the earnings are from HSBI and any other rewards that I personally send to the community account. A small proportion came from the delegation-for-vote projects.
A very unique feature of the community account is that I never had to power it down, and instead kept the stake on Hive. The earnings from that account funded HSBI rewards for members of the community who contributed quality content. They received manual curation and HSBI rewards, sometimes along with other benefits (2nd layer tokens and Ecency promotions). It was a wonderful system that truly encouraged people to continue creating quality content and engage.
Acidyo wants curation his own way, and thus would rather break down the community's system (which was agreed upon by the community) than have it continue work in its own way. This is not to say that his points are invalid: manual curation is a wonderful thing, but there can be more than one way to reach the same endpoint. This is not something that he's capable of acknowledging. There is simply no nuance.
It should also be mentioned that the way acidyo's community accounts have reaped rewards is embarrassing, considering that his complaints are exactly about reducing the reward pool. Earning hundreds of dollars by self-upvoting spam comments is acceptable (see image below), but using delegated HP to earn rewards, which are then used to give HSBI as rewards is unacceptable.
Hypocrisy at its finest. Upvote your own spam then justify it. The amount of funds he's stolen in this manner far exceed the amount that's been obtained from delegation-for-vote projects. None of them can deliver even close to a $90 vote.
He claims that the funds earned are used in a beneficial manner. Are the funds earned by @hive-140084 also not used to help people? He doesn't like how some of the community account's earnings are obtained, and I don't like how the earnings on this community's account are obtained (upvoting spam comments).
But let the hypocrisy keep flowing. Let hundreds of dollars continue going into the hands of people who will abuse their power in order to centralize their control over the blockchain.
I'm not going to mince words: Acidyo and company, you are vindictive, hypocritical assholes who drain the blockchain of its humanity. For any benefit that you may bring, you suck even more blood out of it. You are a huge part of the reason that the social part of Hive is never going to succeed. Your ego will prevent you from seeing this while you continue sucking the rewards pool dry with your antics.
It is not my wish for Hive to fail, but this is exactly what's happening. I'd rather hope that the few entities on Hive who choose to abuse their power would fail, but they've already obtained too much stake and will continue supporting each other to continue Hive's downfall.
Upon completion of my residency, I was going to bring in my fellow graduates to join this blog. Now I will never even mention its existence. Along with another member, I was setting up accounts on other websites with high visibility to link to Hive. Now I will never link them to Hive. This is what happens when you work to destroy the people that put the effort to build.
I certainly have the option of continuing to post here, curating, etc. If this were not my 2nd round with the FC community, I might have considered doing this. Having the experience of FC being taken away from me in the past, I do not wish to continue participating in the social part of this blockchain any longer. It will be better for my mental health to leave entirely.
As the community account becomes defunct and unable to deliver rewards as it previously did, there's no point keeping its stake there as I had originally planned. I am going to liquidate all funds from all accounts and remove the stake. In other words, I will retrieve all of my funds. I'm not going to be a stakeholder any longer.
I will make one more post tomorrow, a more positive one, addressing the actual majority of people who tried to spread positivity across Hive as I tried to do.
One more member of Hive has been claimed due to the greed and selfishness of a few people. The actions and opinions of a few override the benefit of many. The oligarchy wins, while the average and new user lose. Congratulations on the destruction!
I will be tagging the inaugural members of this community to inform them that our reward system will come to an end. I'll be selling off my HSBI. Fortunately, I confirmed with @josephsavage that those who received HSBI will be able to keep their units and continue benefitting from the rewards we did already give out. This was paramount to me before making the decision to sell off all of my HSBI units. Keep thriving, folks.
Even though HSBI rewards will no longer be active, you can give the FreeCompliments Community a win by continuing to post here. Let the community thrive even without the benefits of being rewarded. Show the oligarchs that a community can still keep itself alive out of pure will. This is how we win.

You look after yourself, you have done so much good but you have to look after yourself first sometimes. Your presence and good work will be greatly missed.
Thanks so much, man. I'm only getting older - it's time to ensure that my health, both physical and mental, becomes priority.
I hear ya and feel ya on that!
You're somewhere around the 50th great person I've seen flagged off Hive. Sad to see ya go.
All too relevant of a song choice!
Appreciate it, brother. Frankly if it was just me being flagged, I wouldn't quit. Seeing the community flagged was the killer for me. That made me lose any remaining trust in this place.
Keep being amazing, man. You've been building something very unique here for years, and there are plenty of people who recognize this. 💪
I will be waiting to see your next post, as it seems quite positive.
Coming up soon!
[@PowerPaul:] What else can I say that I haven't already said via PM. Nevertheless, this comment is important to me. This is where every Hivian should raise their hand and reblog, as a sign so that we recognize the issue. Reblog on the private profile and ccnewsflash.
Once again: all the best on the road ahead! You will certainly not be forgotten. You have made an impact and will continue to do so.
Thank you for everything!
Thank you brother. 🙏 I hope that you continue succeeding in growing CCCeo. You're a gem on this platform.
I am sorry to hear this, but you must protect your mental health first ... I have greatly enjoyed my time in the community, and found it a good place to talk about those matters that deal with our internal health. I have plenty of HSBI already, so that was never the reason. Just know that you did a lot of good, and that justice will catch up after while ... take good care of yourself in the meantime.
Appreciate this, Deeann! Your contributions always showed intelligence and critical thinking, which I love. I hope you'll continue posting in this community regardless. I want it to be a bastion of free speech.
Absolutely these rule breakers need to be held accountable! Committing massive fraud on our platform and then turning around and blaming others and financially attacking them?
Once again this absolutely shows why this platform is going downhill so badly and we are bleeding members.
Indeed, and they're going to continue doing this. They got very lucky to be early players in this game. Shame that honest people leave while the dishonest ones remain and use the system to their own collective advantage, preventing further adoption.
I will be aware of your next post, to read good news, I don't want to know more about toxicity.
Agreed, enough toxicity. it happens in life, but it's important to carry on in a positive way. Post coming up shortly!
It is bad that FreeCompliments will not longer be able to continue going forward.
I have got a good visibility on my posts in here. I am not sure what other communities provides the same. I need to start looking for that.
Thanks for the update and I think others would also hope that this wouldn't go this way.
Technically, you can still continue posting in the community. Keep it alive! Spread the love and joy.
I'm sorry about that.
Wish it wouldn't be so.
!BBH !SLOTH
Dear Community, due to recent attacks on our community accounts, the rewards system that we established for the community will come to an end. I hope that you will continue to use the community and not let the Hive oligarchs win by destroying the community.
Post above contains more details. I wish you all the best! Thank you all for being the foundation of FreeCompliments.

(If you were tagged, it’s because you’re an inaugural member – please let me know if you don’t want to be tagged and I’ll stop, pronto!)
You are a treasure! Get back to what really matters
I respect you big time. We will keep posting. One love.
Appreciate it man, keep the love going!
Going exactly like the playbook.
I downvoted the tag spam. Can’t allow that anymore
You mean the one in which people leave because they see large, vocal stakeholders care more about methods of curation than they do about building and engaging communities? Tearing down a community isn't exactly going to help Hive. More and more people will keep leaving because of this. Congratulations on this achievement.
Since reading comprehension is not your strong suit, I'm going to again explain that these are inaugural members of the community who agreed to be tagged for community updates.
Lmao, who do you think you are to think you control what's allowed or not allowed here? You have absolutely zero authority in what I do in my own community. How pompous. You can allow yourself out of here.
After ignoring my requests to stop buying votes and countless comments, videos and hours spent on you, you now rely on spreading lies to build up your defense.
Anyone with 2 brain cells can track where those rewards go by following the transactions, it's not even going through hive engine like your vote purchases do.
They are sent to @nomnomnomnom which liquidates rewards at no cost/profit, then sends them to @redditposh which allocates them to people sharing hive posts on Reddit, some to the tune of thousands of views on the frontends that track views (peakd/ecency).
Not only do I not make anything from POSH, we even have devs that volunteer most of the time to continue building tools that may bring traffic and potential new users to our platform and that's something that should be rewarded way more than most authors here, myself included. We also post transparency reports as to what each and every hive earned is used for and plan on making a proposal now that it's grown beyond a point of just being experimental.
If it wasn't something that wouldn't benefit all stakeholders on hive, I wouldn't direct hive votes to automated comments and posts and I'd personally combat such attempts if I saw them if they only benefited a group of people/community/token holders.
Anyway there's too much to say about POSH but to think that you're one of the first to notice this and that I'm openly abusing the reward pool and to use it in this post really makes me question your intelligence.
I gave you a lot of olive branches along the way with the many comments back and forth, you could just curate your community with your own stake and attempt to convince others why they should add their votes on top. That however was not an option because you can't resist buying votes and getting them for yourself and/or community through vote selling schemes. Maybe you're just using this as an excuse to exit and I'm yet again wasting my time trying to get you to reconsider and curate your community the way most other stakeholders and projects do for the sake of the community.
Either way, didn't read the full post, bye.
neither did most of the people you desperately spam tagged
