What’s The Way To Success.
How do we become very relevant? Is it by luck or hardwork.
I’m asking this question because there is a movie I watched today. Well, a movie with this same storyline was released so many years ago but that was more interesting than this even though the camera quality of this new one is better than the old one.
That’s not my point and I would not like to digress from what I want to talk about.
There’s a young guy in the Nigerian movie industry, he’s so good that he cannot be compared to any other actor but he has never gotten an AMVCA award. The AMVCA is the biggest movie award in Nigeria just like the Oscar movie awards is the biggest in the world. Now, this guy names Ibrahim Chatta can act or play any role conveniently and will flow so well with it but I’m wondering why he has never gotten a single award. Also, he has been featured in so many movies but he has never gotten an award despite the fact that he kills every of his roles that he is being given.
Even people who are not as good as him in the movie industry have gotten awards and are doing better than him. Now, is success luck or hardwork?
Those who get the awards don’t have two heads so does it mean that they are lucky? Which should we believe in? Should we keep working hard or we should continue to believe in luck?
I’ve seen cases where some people must have been in the same system for years and may be very hardworking but they seem not to go anywhere or maybe improve.
Have you seen such before? What’s the way forward or how do you think we can easily succeed. By pulling some stunts, magic, harwork, prayer or all?
Which of them?
