CyberSpace77 is a new, modern, free, and truly open-source social media app for Hive that runs entirely locally on your computer or in your browser, making it more resistant to censorship than a closed-source front end that relies not only on Hive nodes but also on front-end servers.
By cyberpunks for real crypto and cyberpunks.
Another goal of the app is to revamp Hive’s interface (hive.blog), which is in some cases severely outdated, to properly implement a “mobile-first” approach, and to move away from the outdated “blogger” image toward a modern and sexy X-inspired social media app.
CyberSpace77 is also intended to be a playground for new features that haven’t existed on Hive in this form until now.
On CyberSpace77, you’re no longer bloggers, you’re Crypto- and Cyberpunks.
Welcome to CyberSpace77 :)
The new version has now implemented a large number of previously missing features, such as a search function for users, spaces, and subspaces; subspaces (communities) can now also be searched in a ranked list, users can be added to or removed from favorites, and the publish dialog now allows you to set the payout option, the meta description, and add beneficiaries.
If you hover over a post’s hive value or tap on it, you’ll now see a clear breakdown of the payout between the author, curators, and beneficiaries.
You can now also edit your profile, and for the first time, CyberSpace77 lets you view and edit your complete profile data, including custom JSON.
These are a few highlights of the new version, as always, please post feedback, bug reports, and feature requests in the comments.
P.S. If you’re testing the app, add #cyberspace77 as a Space (tag) to get an upvote.
👍
Ansonsten mittlerweile richtig gut.

the custom nodes setting is the part I like most. if it all runs locally and I can point it at my own node, there's not much left to censor. does it switch over on its own when a node lags?
