HivePulse updates based on community feedback and usability improvements

Hive Pulse is evolving one step at a time and there are new updates based on the community feedback, but also from usability point of view as myself I am a vivid user of it. And just this morning I have applied a patch on it that I hope will bring the community that uses it some nice features and new things to wonder around it. It is not a big update as it was focused to address fixes and enhancements on existing functionalities, but it is a step forward. I intend also to run some polls for capturing more feedback on the app, but at this point I will simply presented some achievements from the backlog.

Account Value Price Source

A first update is referring to the Account Value which almost always seemed a little bit off from the current market price. And that was because it was using the oracle feed. Thus, I've decided to change that and now the users can now choose between "Internal Market" (DEX latest trade price, real-time, the option that I prefer) and "Oracle Feed" (witness median price, hourly) for calculating Account Value in $ (USD). This is now configurable from the UI Config dialog and it is defaulted to the market price.

History operations and bug fixes

When I first launched the app, I didn't mapped all the possible operations from the blockchain into formatted components. As I am using the app and through different operations that take place, I am discovering more such cases and update them through structured formatting that has a compact row with expandable detail table. This creates a better user experience and improves the look and feel and usability of the overall History section. Here are some of the new cases covered:

• Proposal Vote — update_proposal_votes with approve/remove status
• Fill Order — internal market order fills showing counterparty and amounts
• Limit Order — order creation with amount to sell and min to receive
• Cancel Order — order cancellation (limit_order_cancel + limit_order_cancelled)
• Return Delegation — returned HP delegation with VESTS→HP conversion
• Delegate HP — delegation events (green for incoming, gray for outgoing)
• Interest — HBD savings interest payments
• To Savings — transfers to savings account
• Delayed Vote — scheduled votes with voter, author and weight

On top of this, I fixed a bug on the Vote Value accuracy within the operations from the History section that I've spotted at some point. It is the case when multiple votes are arriving in the same second and are showing identical (wrong) vote values. The root cause was that the vote pairing with the transaction identifier could collide. Now I've paired that exclusively by voter, author and permlink as key which guarantees unique per vote. This was a hard one to spot, but it ended up clear in the end.

Light Theme polishing

I am not a user of the Light theme, but as I was out on a terrace and doing some checks on my latest Goals and Engagement, I saw that the Dark theme wasn't good enough with the sun hitting it rays at me. Thus I have switched to the Light theme but even with it I had troubles reading the screen. That's when I have decided to do a complete overhaul of the Light theme for proper contrast and consistency:

• Counter tiles: white backgrounds with dark text instead of dark boxes
• Table headers: full black, bold with solid border separators
• Section cards: matching background, consistent shadow and border across all pages
• Section titles: upgraded to the text matching the Dashboard's card title style

And this covers all my latest updates on the Hive Pulse app. I hope you will find better usability to it, more component translations and a more accurate pricing for the Account Value.
