Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Metaldragon vs Amrith

Hello friends, hello gamers, welcome to my entry to this week's social media challenge for splinterlands. I have officially made 2 splinterlands post now which have both been for the community engagement challenge. This post is my first entry to the social media challenges.

For this challenge, I will like to describe one of the battles I played today. In this battle, my opponent and I selected the same summoners which belong to the death element. The summoner both me and my opponent selected the Thaddius Brood summoner which took -1 magic and -1 health from both of us.

We also selected the same first cards which has the thorns ability. Cursed Windeku is in first position for us both. We also both brought 6 cards. In the second position, I selected Djinn Muirat and my opponent selected Riftwing which has no attack. In third position, my opponent brought Supply runner with a ranged attack of 2 and I brought Silent - sha vi with 3 melee attack and a speed of 4.

In the 4th position, my opponent selected another ranged card called Soul strangler which has an attack of 2 range. I selected Lira the Dark in 4th position which has a speed of 6 and range attack of 2. In the 5th position, me and my opponent selected magic cards and again both of us selected ranged cards in the 6th position. I selected Revealer for the 5th position and Xenith archer in the 6th position. My opponent selected Life sapper in 5th and Dhampir stalker in 6th position.

By the end of the first round of the battle, my opponent and I lost 1 card each. I lost my first and my opponent lost the 5th. At the start of the second round, my opponent lost the first card and my next attack killed the last card. By the end of round 3, my opponent had only 2 cards. The no attack card in first position and Supply runner in second.

In round 4, my cards killed my opponent's remaining 2 cards and I won the battle.
