Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - We Got Lucky With The Misses!
Time flies! Just completed the 268th brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!
- Fun In The Discord Chats
Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.
- Moving Back To Bronze Fray
Had 8 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.
- We Got 6th!!!
So for the final result, we were 8th out of 10 guilds and got 350 Merits and around 8 SPS! A good bag of SPS! Who knows how much one SPS would go to in this market?
Individually, I had 8 fights this time and I won 6 of them this time! Finished 4th within the guild. Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there was 1 additional win for me.

As usual, I lost because my opponent had Quora Towershead. I am kind of tired of commenting these unbalanced battles nowadays.

The full Magic lineup did extremely well thanks to the boost from Delwyn Dragonscale and we were back to winning ways! Thanks goodness Earth cards weren't allowed. If you know you know, lol!

What a fantastic performance from Marisol Contuma! Its high speed absorbed a lot of misses from my hard hitting opponent and that made the difference! A bit lucky with the probabilities as well!

Battle 4 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Trapp Falloway
I almost thought I lost this because my opponent field a sole Gladius card and my minion cards would easily allowed the Gladius card to clock Bloodlust. But miraculously, Astral Entity came to the rescue with Dodge ability and I was getting all the misses from a card with 5 speed! Credit to Trapp Falloway for dealing the hits swiftly to clear the opponent out.

These low mana battles are very interesting and this time I was the one opting to go with 1 card. The ruleset was tricky and I just went with my gut feeling, once again, it could have gone either way but my Flying Dragon card absorbed the critical misses and we made it narrowly!

Yet another close shave! Both teams put a long list of cards for a 19 mana battle and thanks to Pelacor Deceiver, who bought a lot of time for the team through the misses (again) and we managed to win the race against time.

Quora Towershead. Whatever. Hahaha.

Opponent fled!
So that sums up my 8 battles for this brawl! 75% win rate this time, and it's 100% win rate even we exclude battles against Quora Towershead. Lol! Let's keep fighting PIZZA 2!
