Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - Two Perfect Brawls In A Row!

Time flies! Just completed the 195th brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!

• Fun In The Discord Chats

Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.

• Moving Back To Bronze Fray

For this brawl, I made the decision to move back to a Bronze level fray, which is where my cards are at. It proved to a good decision but I was back to winning form!

Had 4 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.

• We Got 5th!!!

So for the final result, we were 5th out of 10 guilds and got 431 Merits and around 14 SPS! A whole bag of SPS!

Individually, I had 4 fights this time and I won all 4 of them this time! Finished 1st within the guild. Woohoo! Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there were 5 additional wins for me.

Battle 1 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Gorth

Hmm not sure if this was down to luck or some sequencing methodology.. My Gorth hit first and was able to take down the opposing Gorth, and this got me my win. Phew.

Battle 2 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: None

Wow was that Quora Towershead in the opposing lineup? For the record I really dislike fighting against her because she's just too powerful especially in some rulesets. Anyway this was an Earthquake battle and I just had my Flying cards to thank for this. Against the endless self healing Quora Towershead, my team managed to churn enough damage output to bring her down. Chaos Dragon was very instrumental in this battle for its high damage and survivability.

Battle 3 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: None

99 mana battles often call for big cards but there's Lose All Abilities in the ruleset so it made the choice of cards a little tricky. I went out with largely a Magic lineup and it worked well, but kudos to Ulundin Overseer which held up at the front throughout the entire battle to protect the backline.

Battle 4 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Witch Of Warwick

You got to be kidding me. Quora Towershead again!? Fortunately this time my opponent didn't fill a "proper" lineup considering there were only 3 cards and the mana available was 41. I had a full deck of decent cards and they managed to team up well to get this win. And that's it for this brawl! Perfect score!

MVP: Harklaw

So that sums up my 4 battles for this brawl! 100% win rate this time round again, yay!
