Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - The Summoners Showed Their Powers!

Time flies! Just completed the 247th brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!

• Fun In The Discord Chats

Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.

• Moving Back To Bronze Fray

Had 6 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.

• We Got 5th!!!

So for the final result, we were 5th out of 9 guilds and got 300 Merits and around 10 SPS! A good bag of SPS! Who knows how much one SPS would go to in this market?

Individually, I had 6 fights this time and I won 5 of them this time! Finished 2nd within the guild. Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there were 2 additional wins for me.

Battle 1 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: None

I discovered a great way to take advantage of Prophet Rosa's abilities and sent the +2 Ranged attack to Axemaster and Water Elemental. With Double Strike, this meant that Axemaster would deal up to 8 damage per round, which was extremely massive, and that would be followed promptly by another 4 damage from Water Elemental. This meant my opponent would be weakened severely at the start. Even though we did not have any Gladius cards, my team navigated well through the Burning ruleset and got the win.

Battle 3 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Larissa Kerato

Another easy win as we outnumbered our opponents just by the cards. Delwyn Dragonscale's +1 Magic boost was extremely important to the Legendary cards and we got the damage output right from the first round.

Battle 4 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Whistling Damon

Wow what on earth was this? My opponent put out 2 cards for a 37 mana fight, which I guessed was due to the restrictive ruleset. Fortunately, I had enough decent cards to fill up a proper lineup and we got the win procedurally.

MVP: None (almost like a free win)

Battle 5 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: Flagulon Reine

Oh well, there's nothing I could do here with a mid-low mana battle against Quora Towershead. My opponent packed too many Martyr cards around her as well.

Battle 6 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Gorth and Chimney Wallstop

Is that a new summoner in my opponent's lineup? Anyway, despite the tricky cards, my team had no problems and we managed to get the win out of this. As usual, Gorth and Chimney Wallstop formed a strong partnership and the damage output from my team was outstanding.

MVP: Gorth

So that sums up my 6 battles for this brawl! 83% win rate this time, pretty satisfied because we have had some tough battles. Let's keep fighting PIZZA 2!
