Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - Perfect Score! Woohoo!

Time flies! Just completed the 198th brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!

• Fun In The Discord Chats

Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.

• Moving Back To Bronze Fray

For this brawl, I made the decision to move back to a Bronze level fray, which is where my cards are at. It proved to a good decision but I was back to winning form!

Had 6 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.

• We Got 6th!!!

So for the final result, we were 6th out of 8 guilds and got 485 Merits and around 15 SPS! Ouch!

Individually, I had 6 fights this time and I won all 6 of them this time! Finished 1st within the guild. Woohoo! Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there were 1 additional win for me.

Battle 1 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Isgald Vorst

This was an easy start. Obviously, my opponent didn't field a strong card here.

Battle 2 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: None

This was a tough fight because there was Earthquake. The difference over here was that Redwyrm Dragon had Flying and dealt Magic damage and they helped greatly in my team's damage output.

Battle 3 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Gorth

Gorth was simply too strong in these low mana 1 vs 1 fights. Having 6 Melee damage (with the boost from Tarsa) would easily take out most cards in 1 or 2 rounds. And having 12 HP simply meant it could survive longer than that. Easy win!

Battle 4 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: None

This was a huge fight! Fire Ranged vs Life Ranged! Very exciting to watch and it was nerve racking too. My opponent had a healer and it made things very difficult for me. Fortunately, Countess Sinash was going for all the Opportunity hits and these hits were able to take out critical cards from the backline and I won this very marginally. Phew.

Battle 5 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Katrelba Gobson

Ah, Quora Towershead, we meet again. This time both things took full advantage of the Rebirth ruleset and packed all the Martyr cards in the lineup. Thankfully it worked to my favour as Katrelba Gobson scored a countless amount of Bloodlust, or rather 9 in total! And with Double Strike, that was enough to take down Quora Towershead!

Battle 6 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: None

Sometimes there is no need to think so hard. The ruleset was quite restrictive and I opted for something very simple and likely very familiar to most players. Just Obsidian, together than household names like Regal Peryton and Goblin Psychic. And it was enough to take this win. Yay.

So that sums up my 6 battles for this brawl! 100% win rate this time round!
