Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - Losing Battles By One Turn!

Time flies! Just completed the 217th brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!

• Fun In The Discord Chats

Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.

• Moving Back To Bronze Fray

Had 7 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.

• We Got 4th!!!

So for the final result, we were 4th out of 10 guilds and got 592 Merits and around 16 SPS! Nice finish and a big bag of SPS!

Individually, I had 7 fights this time and I won 5 of them this time! Finished 4th within the guild. Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there were 2 additional wins for me.

Battle 1 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Katrelba Gobson

This was a tough Melee battle, with both team putting out Demoralise cards and Shield cards. The damage output from both sides were severely reduced and it was Sand Worm who had enough damage output to huff and puff all the way from the backline to the frontline.

Battle 2 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Larissa Kerato and Flagulon Reine

This was an easy win. After all, with 2 Legendary Gladius cards, it was very unlikely the battle could go the other way. The amount of the damage output was way more than what my opponent could handle and this was straightforward one way battle.

Battle 4 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: None

This battle was not going anywhere with the opposing Quora Towershead dominating. With a healer being paired, it was near impossible for me to take down and once again it's one of the those battle losses that I have to take. Frustrating.

Battle 5 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: None

Ouch! I lost this battle by 1 turn! And it was because I had a missed hit. My opponent had a Legendary Gladius card and it was so tough to battle against her even though I actually quite a strong lineup, making full of Weapons Training and had a Ancient Lich that did a ton of Life Leech. Unfortunately, I was on the unlucky side of the close battle but it was definitely well fought by the team.

Battle 7 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Trapp Falloway

This was almost a solo performance by Trapp Falloway. With already 4 Melee damage, it was pretty scary to watch it being equipped with Opportunity ability due the ruleset. Easy win over here and that sums up the tricky brawl.

So that sums up my 5 battles for this brawl! 71% win rate this time! Not too bad I guess.
