Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - Legendary Gladius Cards Carried The Team!

Time flies! Just completed the 202nd brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!

• Fun In The Discord Chats

Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.

• Moving Back To Bronze Fray

Had 8 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.

• We Got 8th!

So for the final result, we were 8th out of 10 guilds and got 377 Merits and around 10 SPS!

Individually, I had 6 fights this time and I won 4 of them this time! Finished 2nd within the guild. Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there were 3 additional win for me.

Battle 1 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: Trapp Falloway

What an dreadful start to the brawl. Even after field 5 cards for a 18 mana, as well as a Gladius card, I failed to succeed as my Melee cards were badly hurt by Thorns.

Battle 2 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Palidon Rakk

Both teams fielded Earth lineups with slightly similar lineups but my damage output was greatly boosted by Sand Worm. Even though it was the last to attach every round, the 5 Melee damage proved to be valuable in taking out cards from the backline, and that was enough to score one precious win in this difficult brawl.

Battle 3 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Sola Ranjell

What a matchup! It was against the dreaded Quora Towershead but we managed to win!!! Woohoo! Sola Ranjell was powerful to protect Iziar at the front and Void was such a precious ability to have in this battle. Very satisfying win because I don't usually win against Quora Towershead lineups.

Battle 5 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Larissa Kerato

Delwyn Dragonscale when paired with Larissa Kerato is super lethal! It was such a joy to watch as Larissa Kerato threw out 6 Magic damage per round, and then up to 8 Magic damage after one Bloodlust. My opponent was no match against Magic lineup and we got a good win in yet another tricky match.

Battle 6 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: None

My well thought out lineup was undone by my opponent's Mylor Crowling summoner. I had almost a full Melee lineup and the Thorns really hurt my team badly. Had no chance here.

MVP: None

So that sums up my 6 battles for this brawl! An 67% win rate this time round, pretty decent for such a difficult brawl.
