Time flies! Just completed the 257th brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!
Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.
Had 8 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.
So for the final result, we were 7th out of 9 guilds and got 300 Merits and around 8 SPS! A good bag of SPS! Who knows how much one SPS would go to in this market?

Individually, I had 8 fights this time and I won 7 of them this time! Finished 2nd within the guild. Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there were 0 additional wins for me.

Battle 1 - LOSE
Gladius Card Used: None
It's Quora Towershead again. Oh well. Such battles are not win-nable, so for the nth time, we took the defeat and move on.
MVP: None

Battle 2 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: None
My strategy worked as I placed a ton of small cards in front of Nerissa Tridawn and her 3 Magic damage per round was pretty strong. Nerissa Tridawn is still one of the best cards for Back To Basics battles if the mana allows.
MVP: Nerissa Tridawn

Battle 3 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Flagulon Reine
A solid performance from Flagulon Reine, whose Blast resulted in clocking 2 Bloodlusts in one single round. That was enough to secure this win as the damage output for my team was strong here.
MVP: Flagulon Reine

Battle 4 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Sola Ranjell and Captain Katie
Fire rulesets are always tricky because it's still relatively new. For this battle, both teams were limited to Life lineups and having two Gladius cards and two healers definitely helped a lot. Sola Ranjell's healing definitely was very crucial here.
MVP: Sola Ranjell

Battle 5 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Sola Ranjell
With both sides putting out similar Life lineups, it was Delwyn Dragonscale that made the difference in this one, boosting the damage output for my team.
MVP: Delwyn Dragonscale

Battle 6 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Gorth and Chimney Wallstop
Wow Djinn Inferni struck again with Giant Killer! Faced with tough cards like Quora Towershead, my team rose up to the challenge and Djinn Inferni carried the team all the way to the win!
MVP: Djinn Inferni

Battle 7 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Flagulon Reine
Yet another stellar performance from Flagulon Reine! Both teams had strong lineups and Djinn Oshnanus for this Magic battle, but my cards with Blast made a lot of difference in clearing the battlefield. And we won the race against time.
MVP: Flagulon Reine

Battle 8 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Flagulon Reine
Flagulon Reine did it again! 3 awesome performances and 3 MVPs out of the 8 battles in the brawl. I was contemplating between fielding Isgald Vorst or Flagulon Reine for this low mana battle and I decided to stick with a Magic damage card. And it paid off!
MVP: Flagulon Reine

So that sums up my 8 battles for this brawl! 88% win rate this time, back to my usual form! Let's keep fighting PIZZA 2!
