Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - First MVP For Warrior Of Peace!

Time flies! Just completed the 258th brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!

• Fun In The Discord Chats

Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.

• Moving Back To Bronze Fray

Had 8 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.

• We Got 8th!!!

So for the final result, we were 8th out of 9 guilds and got 250 Merits and around 5 SPS! A good bag of SPS! Who knows how much one SPS would go to in this market?

Individually, I had 8 fights this time and I won 7 of them this time! Finished 1st within the guild. Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there were 0 additional wins for me.

Gladius Card Used: None

Ever Hungry Skull did exceptionally well for this ruleset, even though Astral Entity's Resurrection went to Corpse Fiend, we still managed to win this comfortably.

Battle 2 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: None

Tried an interesting strategy for the Fire ruleset this time, utilising Weapons Training with several non attack cards. In the end, it worked and Warrior Of Peace outlasted all the cards on the board and deserved its first ever MVP!

Battle 3 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: Marisol Contuma and Captain Katie

Once again, it's Quora Towershead. I tried my best and after many rounds of huffing and puffing, there was no way of taking down a Quora Towershead back by a healer and also with Void. Oh well.

Battle 4 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Isgald Vorst

My Opportunity cards like Isgald Vorst and Deeplurker strategically took out their key cards and that made all the difference. Easy win for this one.

Battle 6 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Sola Ranjell and Captain Katie

Can you believe it? I won against a team with Quora Towershead and Kron The Undying!! Iziar did well upfront backed by two healers while Captain Katie did most of the damage output for the team, and miraculously, we managed to overpowered a strong team.

Battle 7 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Gorth and Chimney Wallstop

I thought Forgotten One would be the MVP for this Poison battle, but surprisingly, it didn't need to do much. Poison did all the hard work while my team stayed alive through multiple Martyr boosts, and in the end Chimney Wallstop held out upfront and took the win.

Gladius Card Used: Larissa Kerato

It's always tough facing Legendary summoners like Immortalis and Legendary cards like Legionnaire Alvar, but Larissa Kerato was definitely up to the challenge. Thanks for Delwyn Dragonscale, the team managed to put in a good amount of damage and outfought the opponent in this one.

So that sums up my 8 battles for this brawl! 88% win rate this time, back to my usual form! Let's keep fighting PIZZA 2!
