Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - Firecaller The Unsung Hero!
Time flies! Just completed the 183rd brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!

Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.
- Moving Back To Bronze Fray
For this brawl, I made the decision to move back to a Bronze level fray, which is where my cards are at. It proved to a good decision but I was back to winning form!
Had 7 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.
- We Got 7th!!!
So for the final result, we were 7th out of 10 guilds and got 538 Merits and around 13 SPS! A whole bag of SPS! But definitely room for improvement for the position.
Individually, I had 7 fights this time and I won 5 of them this time! Finished 6th within the guild. Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there were 2 additional wins for me.
Battle 1 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: None
This was a standard textbook lineup from my deck. Interestingly, there's Rebirth and also Reach in play, which benefited both sides. But ultimately, the Martyr boosted Pelacor Deceiver was just too tough for my opponent to handle.

Battle 2 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Gorth and Chimney Wallstop
What a massive fight for this one! All the big cards in play and the timing of the turns really mattered a lot because one big hit could just wipe out any card. Thanks to the Martyr boost from Firecaller, Lava Launcher was able to edge out this win, but barely, but my opponent had a card with Last Stand ability, and it made things really challenging. But we pushed through! Never would have expected Firecaller to make the difference but it did!

Battle 3 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Kotriphus Bayne
Both teams could have very similar lineups for this ruleset, and I guess it's because the rulesets were so restrictive and both sides have likely optimised the lineups. The main difference turned out to be Astral Entity, which took away 2 Armor from my opponent, revived my tank for more time wasting, and made my opponent missed more hits than me. Awesome MVP!

Battle 4 - LOSE
Gladius Card Used: Relenor Cleaver
I just hate fighting against Quora Towershead. I thought my lineup was pretty decent, but of course, again Quora Towershead, it was definitely lacking. Definitely needed a better deck to have a chance for a win in this battle.

Battle 5 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Witch Of Warwick
Hmm Cripple fights are always tricky for me because I am not sure if there's any real strategy involved? Sometimes I just ignore treat the Cripple ruleset as invisible and pick my lineup as per usual. In any case, I had a surprise in this battle as my lineup comfortably took this win, with Night Ghoul posing a bigger trouble than I expected against my opponent.

Battle 6 - LOSE
Gladius Card Used: Sola Ranjell
I almost had it! But it turned out to be a laughable fight because my Sola Ranjell got taken down due to the Magic Reflect. The Iziar/healer combination almost succeeded in this one, but too bad. In life, we just win some and lose some.

Battle 7 - WIN
Opponent fled! Yay!
So that sums up my 7 battles for this brawl! 71% win rate this time round!
