Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - Fighting Against Three Quora Towersheads!

Time flies! Just completed the 216th brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!

  • Fun In The Discord Chats

Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.

  • Moving Back To Bronze Fray

Had 5 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.

  • We Got 7th!!!

So for the final result, we were 4th out of 10 guilds and got 377 Merits and around 18 SPS! Nice finish and a big bag of SPS!

Individually, I had 5 fights this time and I won 4 of them this time! Finished 3rd within the guild. Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there were 4 additional wins for me.

Battle 1 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Flagulon Reine

What a masterful display of Flagulon Reine's powers in this battle! Flagulon Reine has somehow been overlooked among the Legendary Gladius cards I had but this was likely the best display so far! The Blast was so effectively in getting the Bloodlusts and my opponent had trouble trying to take it down.

Battle 2 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Sola Ranjell

What a perfect 6-0 win! Iziar supported by a healer was never going to be easy for any opponent. Moreoever, I opted for Delwyn Dragonscale and almost a full Magic lineup. My damage output was very much boosted and my opponent just didn't had that level of damage output.

Battle 3 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: Gorth

I was never going to win this low mana battle with an opposing Quora Towershead. So will take this loss. 78 Gladius packs and counting.. I still don't have a copy. :(

Battle 4 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Larissa Kerato

Another brawl, another Quora Towershead to fight against. Fortunately, Delwyn Dragonscale's Magic boost gave my entire team a decent fighting chance and everyone huffed and puffed to take down that dreaded card. Well done team!

Battle 5 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Gorth and Chimney Wallstop

One more Quora Towershead to fight against! That's 3 in 5 battles this brawl. My team was extremely strong over here and the damage output was huge compared to my opponent. In the end, my big cards proved their card and the Gladius cards did well, and we pulled off this win.

So that sums up my 5 battles for this brawl! 80% win rate this time! Not too bad I guess.
