Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - Eternal Tofu Is So Tough!

Time flies! Just completed the 251st brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!

Fun In The Discord Chats

Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.

Moving Back To Bronze Fray

Had 6 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.

We Got 5th!!!

So for the final result, we were 5th out of 10 guilds and got 350 Merits and around 13 SPS! A good bag of SPS! Who knows how much one SPS would go to in this market?

Individually, I had 6 fights this time and I won 3 of them this time! Finished 5th within the guild. Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there were 3 additional wins for me.

Battle 1 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Larissa Kerato

A nice start to the brawl! It was not an easy battle because my opponent had 2 healers but my damage output was very solid, thanks to my summoner Delwyn Dragonscale, and it was enough to overpower all the healing.

Battle 2 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: Chimney Wallstop

Ouch. Eternal Tofu as a summoner is just too strong! It has too many abilities and that caused a lot of problems for my team. I started okay but I soon realised my team was being wiped out by Thorns, and then Chimney Wallstop started getting Bloodlust under his belt and that gave me a fighting chance. In the end, I lost out just by one turn. Disappointed with the result but very proud that we pushed the team all the way to the end.

Battle 3 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: Krash Wanderford

A clash of Fire lineups, and I lost out in the battle of Gladius cards. My opponent had a Legendary Gladius card and that made all the difference here.

Battle 4 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: None

What a strange battle. It lasted 22 rounds and Sea Monster took home the well deserved win! My opponent put out a strong tank but Sea Monster showed everyone why its self healing ability was so so strong. 22 rounds of huff and puff and Sea Monster finally took down the opponent. Hard fought win.

Battle 5 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: Flagulon Reine

Seeing Quora Towershead already was terrible, and then there's the Llama summoner. Even though I had a strong summoner and strong lineup, there was no way I could handle a Quora Towershead with Last Stand. This battle was already lost before it began.

Battle 6 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: None

The battles in this brawl were very challenging but Delwyn Dragonscale was the MVP, boosting the entire lineup's damage output. All the cards did well and it was won by teamwork.

So that sums up my 6 battles for this brawl! 50% win rate this time, not that impressive, but considering the battles faced in this brawl, it could have easily been worse. Let's keep fighting PIZZA 2!
