Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - Baakjira Makes A Winning Debut!

Time flies! Just completed the 194th brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!

• Fun In The Discord Chats

Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.

• Moving Back To Bronze Fray

For this brawl, I made the decision to move back to a Bronze level fray, which is where my cards are at. It proved to a good decision but I was back to winning form!

Had 5 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.

• We Got 6th!!!

So for the final result, we were 6th out of 9 guilds and got 431 Merits and around 17 SPS! A whole bag of SPS!

Individually, I had 5 fights this time and I won all 5 of them this time! Finished 3rd within the guild. Woohoo! Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there were 3 additional wins for me.

Battle 1 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Relenor Cleaver and Flagulon Reine

This was a comfortable win because the damage output between the two teams were just too far apart. My team had very strong damage output with heavy hitters such as Relenor Cleaver and Kulu Mastermind and it was a breeze. Shoutout to Baakjira for a winning debut! It's new card that I recently won from a giveaway. Hehe.

Battle 2 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Marisol Contuma and Captain Katie

This was a nervy battle because both teams put up strong lineups and interestingly, both teams had Marisol Contuma in play as well. The Scattershots were random and at one moment it looked like the hits were not in my favour and I was trailing behind, but Captain Katie turned the battle around some good hits and clocked some Bloodlust along the way, and we were okay in the end. Phew.

Battle 3 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Captain Katie and Sola Ranjell

Iziar with two healers is almost impossible for any opponent to overcome and this was the case in this battle. Sola Ranjell and Venari Crystalsmith ensured Iziar remained at full HP all the way as my opponent's cards gradually fell one by one. Easy win over here.

Battle 4 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Bertrol Gobson and Katrelba Gobson

Despite being just a Common card, Katrelba Gobson can be a powerful card when used at the right strategy. Both Gobson cards partnered perfectly this time, and even though both teams used Katrelba Gobson, and also employed the Martyr boost strategy, mine did powerful because I had two Gladius card and a Thorny and tanky Djinn Chwala in front. Teamwork at play here!

Battle 5 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Larissa Kerato and Sola Ranjell

What happened here? Hmm. Maybe my opponent didn't have enough time or didn't have enough cards. Almost like a free win for me.

MVP: None (almost like a free win)

So that sums up my 5 battles for this brawl! 100% win rate this time round, yay!
