Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - Axemaster Is The Silent Killer
Time flies! Just completed the 290th brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!
- Moving Back To Bronze Fray
Had 8 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.
- We Got 8th!!!
So for the final result, we were 8th out of 9 guilds and got 300 Merits and around 8 SPS! Good result!
Individually, I had 8 fights this time and I won 5 of them this time! Clean sweep! Finished 1st within the guild. Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there were 2 additional wins for me.
Battle 1 - LOSE
Gladius Card Used: Gorth and Chimney Wallstop
My opponent just had too strong a team and I wasted a lot of time trying to clear the tank because of the misses. And with an opposing team packed with Legendary cards and Quora Towershead, these cards will punish any delay without hesitation.

Battle 2 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Relenor Cleaver
This was not an exciting battle but Axemaster stepped up to the challenge and dealt critical hits to save the team from the Magic attackers on the opposing side. Silent warrior but so important to have on the team.

Battle 3 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Captain Katie and Sola Ranjell
Sola Ranjell made the real difference both as an attackers as well as a healer. Having a healer in such evenly matched battles made all the difference.

Battle 4 - LOSE
Gladius Card Used: Flagulon Reine
This battle was not for me to win when I saw the lineup. The opposing was packed with all elite Earth cards, if you know what I mean. My team was strong but there was an extent where they could push to.

Battle 5 - LOSE
Gladius Card Used: Witch Of Warwick
Sigh, it's all the Quora Towershead again.
MVP: None
Battle 6 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Gorth and Chimney Wallstop
How are 84 mana battles different from 99 mana battles? Anyway Gorth and Chimney Wallstop partnered very well to clock the Bloodlust in this Rebirth battles, and with the advantage of two Gladius cards, this battle win was within our grasp.
MVP: Chimney Wallstop
Battle 7 - WIN
Opponent fled! Free win!
Battle 8 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: None
The strategy with combining Prophet Rosa with Axemaster and Water Elemental came through in this battle. 12 damage in the early stage of every round made a lot of difference and we close out the brawl with another win.
MVP: Prophet Rosa
So that sums up my 8 battles for this brawl! 63% win rate this time, but 100% win if we cherry pick and exclude the Quora Towershead battles! Lol! Definitely a good result still! Let's keep fighting PIZZA 2!
