Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - A Brawl Of Two Halves

Time flies! Just completed the 303rd brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!

  • Moving Back To Bronze Fray

Had 5 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.

  • We Got 7th!!!

So for the final result, we were 7th out of 9 guilds and got 200 Merits and around 5 SPS!

Individually, I had 5 fights this time and I won 3 of them this time! Finished 2nd within the guild. Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there were no additional wins for me.

Battle 1 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: None

Oh well.. It's Quora Towershead again. Everything was going so well until the opposing Quora Towershead clocked Bloodlust and it all went downhill after that.

Battle 2 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: None

Strategy was totally off on this one. Prepared to fight against a Melee opposition but opponent went all Magic and even had Quora Towershead. Another loss to take.

Battle 3 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: None

My opponent fielded quite a weak team for a 96 mana battle and my big cards took this win easily through sheer damage output.

Battle 4 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: None

Both teams put out strong teams and my opponent even had a strong summoner! However, Harklaw was such a rock at the tank position and bought a lot of time for my backline. At the end, the difference paid off we got the win!

Battle 5 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Larissa Kerato

Wow! A perfect 6-0 win for a 67 mana battle! And against Quora Towershead! Larissa Kerato once again proved why she is a Legendary Gladius card and carried the team past the finishing line!

So that sums up my 5 battles for this brawl! 60% win rate this time, not that this time! Let's keep fighting PIZZA 2!

a clean sweep against Quora Towershead in battle 5 after it beat you twice earlier is a nice way to close. does the three ruleset change make renting out most of your cards hurt more?

Quora is such a nightmare once it gets that first bloodlust trigger going. Nice recovery in the later matches though, and Larissa Kerato really delivered when you needed her most in that final round.
