Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - 9 Perfect Wins!

Time flies! Just completed the 170th brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!

• Fun In The Discord Chats

Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.

• Moving Back To Bronze Fray

For this brawl, I made the decision to move back to a Bronze level fray, which is where my cards are at. It proved to a good decision but I was back to winning form!

Had 7 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.

• We Got 7th!

So for the final result, we were 7th out of 10 guilds and got 485 Merits and around 12 SPS! A whole bag of SPS! A very poor finish but was let down my participation as well. Sometimes I wonder how many people are playing Splinterlands these days.

Individually, I had 7 fights this time and I won all 7 of them this time! Finished 1st within the guild. Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there was 2 additional wins for me.

Battle 1 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: None

A high mana battle and Ulundin Overseer was the star in this one. My opponent spent too much time trying to bring Ulundin Overseer, and by that time they brought it down, half their team was down and it didn't help that they had Ranged cards at the backline. Ulundin Overseer is just one of those cards that has a set of unique stats and ability.

Battle 2 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Larissa Kerato and Captain Katie

What a landslide! A perfect 6-0 win over here. My opponent just didn't have the cards to handle my team with 3 Legendary cards, including 2 Gladius cards. Easy win.

Battle 3 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Relenor Cleaver and Flagulon Reine

This was not an easy battle at all. Both teams put up very formidable lineups and my opponent had that dreaded Mantaroth. My team huffed and puffed and finally managed to break down the defences bit by bit. Eventually my team had a little more and edged this win, with Coastal Sentry contributing a good amount of damage output.

Battle 5 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Gorth

We all knew how this was going to end. Gorth is just one of the strongest 1v1 in brawl battles and this was no exception.

Battle 6 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Hugo Strongsword

Interestingly, my opponent didn't maximise the mana quota in fielding his lineup. Anyway, this didn't prove to be a factor because with a luck in the sequencing, my Drybone Barbarian went ahead to hit first and luckily took the win.

Battle 7 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Captain Katie

My damage output was very strong and I was faster in taking down my opponent's cards because my damage was Magic. My opponent opted for Melee and had to get through all the armor on my cards, and it's thanks to Grandmaster Rathe for that extra armor for all 6 cards.

So that sums up my 7 battles for this brawl! 100% win rate this time round! Woohoo!

The Merits are coming in fast and I have enough Merits for my 67th Gladius case! Nothing to see here, almost the minimum set of the cards. Still no Quora Towershead. Oh well.
