Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - 4 out of 5 Wins!

Time flies! Just completed the 30th brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!

• Fun In The Discord Chats

Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.

• Staying In Bronze Fray

For this brawl, I decided to stick to what I fought in the last fray, which was Fray 6, which was 3/2/2/1. I felt I was starting to find my grove and this fray is neither too difficult nor too easy for me.

Had 5 battles this time and it seems that I have adapted to life without Yodin Zaku. Am glad that my lineups pulled it off this time.

• We Got 1st!

So for the final result, we were back to the podium and finished 1st out of 10 guilds and got 969 Merits! That's the 4th time now since I joined the guild!

Individually, I had 5 fights this time and I managed to win 4 of them. Super awesome!

Battle 1 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Trapp Falloway

Legendary Kitty? Not an issue this time as my triple Weaken strategy reduced their HP immensely. The speed caused a lot of problems for my team and Twisted Jester was able to get the hits just in time and my Level 1 lineup took the win against a max Bronze team.

Battle 2 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Gorth

Djinn Chwala would have been a solid pick for this 12 mana fight if this wasn't a guild brawl. With Gladius cards available, Gorth shined in this 1v1 fight and took a close win! Not often he gets picked for brawls, but great job in this one!

Battle 3 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Relenor Cleaver

This was a tricky Earthquake battle, with both sides putting up the same Level 2 summoner. My Gladius card made the difference here as Relenor Cleaver had a ton of armor to be deducted by Earthquake and eventually bought a lot of time for the backline to deal damage.

Battle 4 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: None

Didn't use any Gladius card this round and opted for Sea Monster as the tank. Sea Monster caused a lot of problems for the opposing team and eventually their Gladius card let them down as Ranged cards can't hit in the tank position.

Battle 5 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: Trapp Falloway

Any thoughts of getting a clean sweep in this brawl vanished when I saw Coeurl Lurker in the opposing lineup. Despite putting out a strong Melee lineup, it was near impossible to get through Coeurl Lurker that was Enraged. As expected, my entire team went down without even causing a dent in the opposing team.

So that sums up my 5 battles for this brawl! Pretty satisfied this time, especially with some big wins.

The Merits are coming in fast and I have enough Merits for my 15th Gladius case! Bad luck this time again with the minimum 1 Rare 4 Commons! What's new? Lol.
