Splinterlands Grinding Experiment: First Post Payout Came In!

Woohoo, the first post finally reached payout and I can breath a little on my Splinterlands grinding account.

My author rewards came in two ways, as Hive-Engine tokens, mainly, and as Hive Power, but not as consistently.

I'm especially happy about the SPT and ONEUP rewards, because now I can also curate gaming content.

For the first payout on this account, I decided to fully stake SPT and ONEUP. The other tokens I received I'll sell for DEC.

Starting with the next payout, it remains to be seen how much I'll stake. I will need to speed up my aquisition of DEC to meet the Collection Power requirements for moving up to Bronze II. I prefer buying cards, but that might take too long instead of renting. We'll see.

My newly increased SPT stake also raised my daily SPS airdrop quite significantly. From 0.002 SPS per day to 0.031 SPS per day.

SPS, I can't bring myself to sell for DEC, to speed up the increase of CP, because I know how valuable it will be and that now is the best time to accumulate it. Even if we are talking about very small amounts for a small account at its beginning. So, I'll keep staking it. Until maybe I have enough of it and other tokens to consider diesel pools as an alternative.

On the Hive Power front, here's how things are after the payout:

Only 0.4 HP of my own so far, but still having access to a small but very useful delegation from @giftgiver. Fortunately, @splinterlands upvotes are mainly with Hive, so that's a great way to increase my own HP, by participating in their challenges.

Guilds

A special mention about guilds here... Despite my low level and lack of resources to contribute financiacially (with DEC) yet, I applied to several low level guilds.

I understand the reluctance of an active guild almost at capacity to take in someone like me (I mean this account), but a guild with only a few members and a number of 'dead' ones? My strength on this account is consistency. As is on my main account, although there I am the second top contributer as well. I do all DQs, every day. And that counts for the Lodge bonuses.

Who knows, maybe I get an invite? :) Remember, I follow certain rules on this account:
