I'm having an awful period time-wise, which will likely continue for a while, but I was able to do all that was necessary as soon as possible for the newest version of land.
For me, it wasn't a necessity to claim all plots before Land 1.75, since I switched everything to Grain farms on Sunday, but I did it anyway, just in case there would be a glitch or anything unexpected during the release of the new version. Better safe than sorry, I guess. I couldn't wait to the last couple of minutes since I had to leave home for an appointment around the time when the maintenance window started. So, I claimed everything right before I left.
On the other side, after the maintenance window was over, I forgot to check discord regularly, and I remembered about an hour after Land 1.75 was released. Good enough, I guess. I claimed all plots again (except for taxes on the Keep), since all of them were Grain farms.
77 of 99 plots (except the Keep) were automatically switched to other types of natural resources than Grain... What's good is that I have more Iron plots than I thought. I don't know what kind of restrictive filters I had activated when I thought I would only have 1 Iron plot. But now that the transformation is done, here's the result:
I have 7 plots producing Iron. It's true, only 3 rare and 4 common. I will not keep one of them for Iron production, since it is of the "occupied" type.
But look how many I have for Stone:
Sure, two of them will switch back to SPS mining (one is already in process of changing back), and another good bunch to Research, so I won't have as many slated for Stone after a while.
This morning, so after about 12 hours, maybe less, I checked what happened on land during the night. What is the status, so to speak...
First thing to notice, I consume more Grain than I produce, which was to be expected, since only 22 plots are producing Grain, including one that would be great for Research (Epic Magic). But I have over 10m Grain stockpiled, so I have no worries for a good while.
The negative Grain per hour is higher, but I have 1 plot changing worksite from Stone to SPS mining, and that requires less/no food for the time being.
I also had a lot more Stone, but I swapped a bit to wood, a bit to Iron, and put a decent amount into the LP:
Half an hour ago, the fees amount estimation showed $0.04, now they show $0.07, so the activity in this pool is picking up, as I'm sure it'll happen with all of them, especially if they are scarcer resources. We are not talking about huge amounts of resources in the pools either. For the time being I see big slippages on the market, which means there is a much higher demand for swapping resources than liquidity in the pools. That is normal, since no one has enough resources at the moment. I am one of the "fortunate" cases because I turned all my plots to Grain before 1.75 launched. I expect we will still see some shortages for a while until production for new resources ramps up.
Also, when I wanted to add Stone to LP, I noticed I still have a Grain-DEC LP which I had for a long time. I decided to remove 100% of the liquidity from that pool, used the DEC to pool it with Stone, and kept the Grain liquid. I believe Grain will continue to get scarcer, and it wasn't a great move, in my opinion, to keep the Grain LP at this time.
Tomorrow, I re-activate my SPS mine. The first one. It will need a significant amount of resources since I have high-PP cards on it. I want to see that going first, to understand how I stand compared to my own production, to see if I immediately switch another one, more, or wait a bit longer, to benefit from the higher prices for resources.
Land just became a more interesting game. 😀

It sounds quite interesting and I heard it was quite bad for some people who didn't switch over to grain. I think it will take some time, but your plan will work out over time.
I didn't have time to check what anyone else was saying after the release particularly if they didn't switch. I'm sorry for them, if it didn't work out, but I'm glad I made the right decision then.
Wow you are a land baron!
I guess I am! Poor me, so many taxes, current and future costs to pay, lol!
I wonder how much will be your net earn out of this
