make sure you use the splintertalk.io front end and it should put in the SPT tag where people are looking for this type of content. If its about finance I would also recommend #leofinance tag.
Most of those other tags either no one is monitoring or are actually 'incorrectly used'
Hive tag is traditionally for talking about protocol level stuff, but so many people use it wrong that they started the hive governance community for that.
hive-engine tag is monitored but only rewards people who are talking about the hive-engine protocol per se, not generally about tokens on it.
It can be kind of confusing at first, but the truth is there are not a lot of rules, and just a lot of independent cultures around 'what people have been doing' with regards to tags.
Use the two I mentioned above with posts like this.
How much did you end up spending on different skins and which ones did you buy?
My personal strategy is to withdraw the daily SPS airdrop rewards and sell them into BNB tokens on Binance Smart Chain since it only costs 26 cents for the swap and nothing for the withdrawal.
Use those funds to buy more DEC to boost your daily earning or cash it out, as you said for risk management. I have been doing a little bit of both.
I bought the common set (24 skins @ 1000 points each for 24,000 DEC) and the rare set (23 Skins @ 2,500 points each for 57,000 DEC) using the in game store. Since these items cannot be traded or sold so I am thinking maybe they are only available in game, knowing my luck there is probably a better option out there but I didn't see one. I choose to buy the skins because this secures 81,000 DEC for life into the game. I felt this will make its way to the development team and they deserve for all these skins to be sold out for their achievements. It also pays about identical to the liquid DEC holding, you actually gain an edge of 500 Airdrop points once you have the skins and do the math.
BNC is a smart move. Anything with acceptable range of fees works. Mainly I use Litecoin for that very reason.
I put $24k into the DEC market this week that came from my LTC holdings. I would do it all over again if given the option even after a week of hindsight. I bought about $7,500 in cards and they already went up in value. As for the rest its all sitting in DEC for Airdrops. I am 81st on the DEC Rich list and I am still a small fish. I am however out of fingernails and need more sleep but everyone here can relate to that I bet.

This is very helpful information for someone new to hive-engine like me. Much appreciated.
Electronic-terrorism, voice to skull and neuro monitoring on Hive and Steem. You can ignore this, but your going to wish you didnt soon. This is happening whether you believe it or not. https://ecency.com/fyrstikken/@fairandbalanced/i-am-the-only-motherfucker-on-the-internet-pointing-to-a-direct-source-for-voice-to-skull-electronic-terrorism

Each day the DEC grows from card sales, card rentals, battles, and daily chest rewards. Oh and those personal side bet battles with your friends. LOL
