I might have to finally call it. If the rental market wasn't so crap I might do that, but if the older cards are going to be worthless then what is the point. Kind of feels like a giant FU to the loyal holders to me.

Yeah, i can see that the drop off in values for older cards isnt appealing and maybe something could have been done? It is pretty similar to all card games though. Even the genesis set in GU seems to have dropped in value some.
